FAQs
What services do you offer?
Heavenly Steps Childcare offers childcare services in an unlicensed, faith-based, and pet friendly home environment. These services are for children aged 2-5 years old.
How do I get started?
Fill out the online wait-list form and register online with ease. When your wait-list spot is approved, you will be asked to fill out an online registration form.
What makes you different?
Heavenly Steps Childcare offers faith-based childcare for preschool aged children in a small group setting. This means that there’s more room for individualized focus and attention on programming activities geared towards your child’s interests while also enhancing their skills and abilities. Being faith-based also means that our daily schedule, holidays, etc. might look a little different than public early learning facilities.
What’s the difference between the wait-list and registration forms?
Looking for a future spot? Need care ASAP? The wait-list is the way to ensure that when a spot opens up, you may be contacted.
If your child has been accepted into the program, you will be required to fill out and submit a registration form. Registration forms contain primary caregiver, emergency contact info, allergy/medical information, information about your child’s daily routine/experiences, and permission forms.

Our daily service rate is $40/day.
This covers programming material and equipment needs, living costs, and other future investments.
Please Note: Fees may be subject to change in the future.
Does your facility offer subsidized childcare spots?
No, unfortunately, we do not offer subsidized childcare spots as the centre would need to be licensed to be considered eligible for funding.
What happens when my child is feeling unwell?
We care about the well-being of the staff and children in our care. Therefore, if your child is unable to participate in daily activities, we ask that you keep your child home until they are feeling better or their symptoms improve.
If your child becomes unwell while at daycare, we will notify you to pick up your child immediately. If we are unable to reach you, your emergency contact will be notified and asked to pick up your child.
Please Note: Public Health requires 48 hours symptom free from vomiting, diarrhea, and or fever-free without medications such as Advil or Tylenol for 24 hours.
Please Note: We encourage families to follow the Canada Food Guide when sending snacks/meals.
We ask that you pack a healthy lunch with 2 choices for morning/afternoon snack for your child as we encourage the Canada Food Guidelines.
